Even as the Opposition target the BJP government about its poll promise of sharing with ‘honest tax payers’ a portion of the black money recovered, BJP president Amit Shah on Friday explained the party’s position saying it was “just a way” to put things across and people know the “money cannot be deposited into their account”.
Responding to a question on when the people would get the money in their account as promised by the BJP before the election, Shah said, “Bank account mein ayega, ye baat karne ka tarika hota hai. Koe bhi Aadmi samajh sakta hai jo kala dhan aayega, wo kisi ke bank account mein ja nahi sakta...desh ke vikas ke liye upyog hoga..wo sab samjhte hai..(That money would come into bank account is just a way to put things across. Anybody can understand that the black money recovered will not come to an individual’s account. The money will be utilised for country’s development, people understand this).”
