After meeting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders in Delhi as well as leaders from the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party on Monday, Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung has sent his report on government formation to President Pranab Mukherjee.

The L-G in his report, has said that no party is ready to form the government in Delhi and all have made a pitch for fresh polls.

According to Election Commission sources, it is unlikely that fresh elections in the national capital will be held alongside the Assembly elections scheduled in Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir.
