NCW asks Goa police to act against Madhu Kishwar - NewsX

The latest to join the string of controversies on naming vicitms of sexual assault cases in thier Tweets, is woman rights activist Madhu Kishwar.
After BJP Spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi was hauled up by the NCW for naming the Tehelka victim on twitter, noted social activist Madhu Kishwar has shamelessly followed suit.
NCW has directed Goa Police to file an FIR against Kishwar following a complaint by NSUI member.
Revealing the identity of a victim in cases of sexual assault is a criminal offence under Section 228A of the Indian Penal Code.
