News X: Jodhpur Police issues summons to spiritual Guru Asaram Bapu

Jodhpur police have issued summons to self-styled Godman Asaram Bapu in the alleged rape case.
Jodhpur Police has set a deadline of 4 days for him to appear before the police officials for further interrogation.
The 72-year-old spiritual guru was earlier booked by Delhi Police for sexually assaulting a minor girl in her hostel at Jodhpur which is owned by Asaram's trust. Case was registered under Sections 376, 509 and 354 for rape and assault.
Remember, this isn't the first time a case that has been registered against the controversial guru. There are many cases related to land encroachments in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, attempt to murder and even culpable homicide of young students in 2008.
