NewsX: Tamil Nadu finds Food Bill unfair

NewsX: As the UPA government is getting ready to roll out the food security bill, it has signaled a new kind of crisis for Tamil Nadu. Since subsidies from the Center will now cover only two-thirds of the population, the state will have to foot the bill for the remaining beneficiaries if it wants to continue providing universal coverage under the PDS.
