Cricket spot-fixing scandal: NewsX manages to speak to a bookie about the betting syndicate. The Guests, Amit Khemka, a senior Lawyer and Harpal S. bedi, Cricket Expert join NewsX to share investigation.

Number of questions with regards to the probe are emerging. Some of those being- Will the cricket's apex body conduct its own probe? Despite being an autonomous body and having its own Anti-Corruption Unit, BCCI has till now refrained from ordering its own probe and only given a passive response of assisting in the probe of Delhi Police.

As per indications the BCCI is likely to act tough to save itself more embarrassment.

The BCCI has already suspended the three Rajasthan Royals cricketers from the game, pending an enquiry. Sources tell News X that today Board could decide to provisionally ban these cricketers for life even before the court decides on the issue.

To fix the problem of fixing for future. BCCI is likely to ask its anti-corruption unit's head to provide a report urgently. Initially the Anti-corruption unit was given 30-days to submit the report, but its likely to be told by the BCCI to come up with his findings quicker than that.
