Cricket spot-fixing scandal: The disciplinary committee of the Board of Control for Cricket banned the five players accused of fixing in a sting operation during this year's Indian Premier League. While TP Sudhindra has been banned for life, Shalabh Srivastava has been banned from playing for a period of five years. The other three - Mohnish Mishra and Amit Yadav and Abhinav Bali - have been handed a year's ban each.
