Spot Fixing Scandal: The Mumbai police have raided various hotels to nab bookies hiding in the city. They have also raided the hotel Sreesanth had checked into in Mumbai before he was arrested and recovered his laptop, iPad, mobile phone, data card, cash, and diaries.

Mumbai's joint Police commissioner, crime Himanshu Roy also said that there is strong evidence against Sreesanth. He confirmed that Jiju Janardhan had checked in to the hotel with Sreesanth and was the one constantly in touch with other bookies on Sreesanth's phone. Meanwhile, Mumbai police have arrested another bookie named Pankaj Shah alias Lotus and seized 15 mobile phones from him.
