As a pre-emptive measure, all 10 districts of Kashmir was brought under curfew before day break, a senior police official said. Large number of police and CRPF personnel have been deployed across the Valley to maintain law and order, the official said. Attempts were made to break curfew in Sopore (the hometown of Afzal Guru) and Baramulla, police said, adding that security personnel fired in these two places.
