Cauvery row: Shettar meets Fali Nariman, upset with SC ruling

The Supreme Court ruling on the Cauvery water issue today hasn't gone down well with Karnataka government. Chief Minister Jagdish Shettar is in Delhi to consult legal lumanaries on the issue... he has already met eminent lawyer Fali Nariman. Despite the looming political crisis in Karnataka and the ongoing budget session, the chief minister's presence in Delhi indicates the state's intention to appeal against the apex court's verdict. Earlier in the day, the supreme court has asked Karnataka to release 2.44 TMC Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu.
