J&K: Sopore gunfight continues; 5 LeT militants killed - NewsX

Five terrorists reportedly part of the Lashkar-e-Taiba have been killed in a gunfight raging in the Spopore area of North Kashmir since yesterday. The police and the Army launched the operation, acting on informatyion about the presence of militants in their hideout. With Forces coming under fresh fire this morning, security forces believe that two more gunmen were still holding out exchanging fire. Sources also say that two houses were destroyed in day-long gunfight on Tuesday.
