Two Army jawans and two militants were killed in a fierce gunfight in Laribal Rajwar Handwara forests. The encounter happned when a joint search operation was launched by the Army’s 21 Rashtriya Rifles battalion and the police after a tip off about the presence of militants in the area late last evening.
