At a juncture when there a massive outrage in the country over heightened rape cases in Uttar Pradesh, a callous remark has now emerged from Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Babulal Gaur.

Gaur has defended Uttar Pradesh government which has been under the scanner over the laxity in curbing crimes against women.

The SP regime has been facing the flak from various quarters for failing to contain law and order in the state.
