Teen rescued 55 hours after factory collapse in Jalandhar - NewsX

The search and rescue operations in the Jalandhar's factory collapse have entered the final phase. 10 people have been confirmed dead and nearly 100 still feared trapped underneath. Early this morning, rescuers pulled out a teenager Sandeep from under the debris. He was trapped for nearly 55 hours. He had no major injuries despite being buried under heaps of concrete and iron since Sunday midnight. He was rushed to the hospital for medical attention. He was located last night itself, and was supplied food and water, but could be pulled out only early this morning.
