India News: The water level in the Yamuna continues to rise in New Delhi and has touched 207.25 metre mark, which is the highest since 2010. The water has spilled over to the Outer Ring Road and is expected to affect the traffic movement.
The water level in the river reached the record mark on Wednesday evening after the Haryana government released water from the Hathnikund barrage. The water level rose at the Nigambodh Ghat area on the banks of the Yamuna river coast, leaving vast stretches of Outer Ring Road in the national capital prone to the river water.
