The monsoon has taken the country like a wildfire. Many areas of India have been adversely affected due to the extensive rainfall. After creating havoc in the southern parts of the country, the monsoon is leaving its unpleasant effects in the western and eastern regions of India. Rivers Ganga and Yamuna began to flow above the danger-mark in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj on Sunday night. The situation in much of Prayagraj remains the same with officials fearing that floods may also affect urban areas over the next few days.
