Guan Eng: I said the trip was funded by Totalisator Board

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng has reiterated today that lotto operator Da Ma Cai did not directly sponsor a recent visit to Turkey by some senior police officers.
He elaborated that the trip was sponsored by the Totalisator Board under the Ministry of Finance, which receives funding from Pan Malaysian Pools Sen Bhd, better known as Da Ma Cai.
Yesterday, inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun denied that the trip was conducted for entertainment purposes, as certain quarters had claimed on social media.
