UNSC allows IFRC to supply humanitarian aid to North Korea

The UN Security Council has granted a sanctions exemption for a non-profit organization to provide humanitarian assistance to North Korea.
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies said it was given the waiver on January 30th... allowing it to provide bicycles, medical equipment, water, and other types of humanitarian aid to the North.
The IFRC said... 500 bicycles will be used by its volunteers to provide medicine and healthcare to North Koreans living in remote areas.
