S. Korea's trade volume with Canada has grown by 33.7% under FTA: Data

It's been more than 4 years since South Korea and Canada's FTA took effect.
Latest data show Seoul's trade volume with that country grew by more than 30 percent since... thanks to strong car exports.
According to the Korea Customs Service, the total amount of trade between the two countries last year... came to 11-point-5 billion U.S. dollars... up from 8-point-6 billion in 2015.
The agency attributed the increase to more shipments of local passenger cars... after tarriffs were reduced and finally eliminated in 2017.
