Seoul and Washington's working group on North Korea will be video-conferencing on Thursday,... to discuss various matters related to the Peninsula.
According to Seoul's Unification Ministry,... the two sides may be able to come up with a date for the video reunions of war-torn families.
The ministry spokesperson explained, South Korea and the U.S. have been discussing the reunions since the end of last year,... and expressed hopes for progress on a sanctions waiver for the use of video screens and fiber-optic cables.
The talks were originally scheduled for last week.
But they are believed to have been delayed due to the shutdown of the U.S. government.
