Trump orders burgers for college football champions amid government shutdown

U.S. President Donald Trump has put on a fast food feast at the White House to welcome the winners of the national college football championship, the Clemson Tigers.
He claimed to have personally paid for the hundreds of burgers, fries and pizzas, blaming the on-going government shutdown for the lack of catering staff.
He used the occasion to again campaign for tougher border security.

"…..Reason we did this is because of the shutdown. We want to make sure that everything is right. So we set out, we got this. And we have some wonderful people working at the White House, they help us out with this. And I will say, the Republicans are really, really sticking together. It's great to see, because we need border security. We have to have it. We have to have it, no doubt about it."
