Samsung Electronics will hold an event in San Francisco next month to unveil the Galaxy S10.
Samsung was expected to announce the S10 series at the Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona,... but the company says it brought it forward so it can launch the smartphone on the 10th anniversary of the Galaxy range.
Watchers also say Huawei's debut of its first foldable smartphone at the Mobile World Congress could have also played a role in Samsung's decision to change the date.
Samsung has yet to confirm the release of its first foldable smartphone.
