Korean ramyeon, one of the country's most popular food exports, is expected to reach 4-hundred million U.S. dollars of exports this year, for the first time ever.
According to Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Cooperation... this year's ramyeon exports reached a record 3-hundred-85 million dollars by November,.... overtaking last year's total of 3-hundred-45 million dollars of exports.
And the increased ramyeon exports are due to its growing popularity in the U.S. and Southeast Asia.
In the U.S.,... sales are expanding to large retail outlets,.... and in Southeast Asia,... spicy ramyeon has become increasingly popular.
