Trump’s Trade War Could Eliminate Thousands Of Jobs

According to a report from The Tax Foundation, President Trump's tariffs on Chinese goods will cost every middle-class family $453 a year. Business Insider adds that while tariffs have the immediate effect of raising costs at a port of entry for goods, the effects can eventually filter to businesses and consumers purchasing imported items. The Tax Foundation also says the tariffs will also be a drag on the U.S. economy and cost tens of thousands of jobs.
