According to a new report by TechCrunch, Microsoft is reportedly set to layoff thousands of employees worldwide in a move to reorganize its salesforce.
The company is reportedly shifting teams around to emphasize Azure cloud sales, rather than boxed software. The shift could be announced as soon as next week, Last year, Microsoft announced additional job cuts of 2,850, including at least 900 from its sales organization.
