Seven years ago on this date, former North Korean leader Kim Jong-il passed away.
Citizens of the regime have been paying tribute to him, so too did the current leader Kim Jong-un.
Pyeongyang's state media Korean Central News Agency reported Monday.... that Kim visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.... to commemorate the death of his father.
This is Kim Jong-un's first public appearance in two weeks.... since visiting a shoes factory in Wonsan.
The regime's state-run daily, the Rodong Sinmun, posted a number of stories about the late leader since Sunday,... highlighting his achievements in economic development and how he helped improved people's livelihoods, instead of military achievements.
