Most companies say they're struggling due to weekly cap: Survey

One out of four companies has been found to be violating the 52-hour weekly cap on working hours.
A survey of 3-hundred-17 companies released by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday... shows seven out of 10 companies are going through managerial difficulties due to a rise in labor costs.
They've asked for corresponding measures including..... the expansion of the flexible work hour system... which currently allows employees to work more during busy periods.... and less when things are slow... as long as the average over a three-month period comes to 52 hours a week.
Starting next year,.... employers of companies with 3-hundred or more employees that violate the weekly cap.... could face up to two years in prison or fines of more than 17-thousand U.S. dollars.
