The presidential committee on the fourth industrial revolution met on Monday to discuss measures to link technology with social policies.
The agenda was mainly on boosting Korea's competitiveness in healthcare and robotics to push for innovative growth and address problems emerging from demographic changes like the aging population.
This was the committee's ninth meeting since it was formed last year, and its first meeting since it reshuffled its members last month.
Chairman Chang Byung-gyu said they will also discuss the direction of the committee, and come up with policy recommendations for people-centered growth by next year.
