S. Korea will be one of fastest countries to adopt 5G smartphones : Strategy Analytics

Commercial 5G smartphones are expected to hit the mainstream market in South Korea... by the end of the first quarter in 2019.
Research also shows... that the country is likely to be one of the world's fastest adopters of 5G technology in the coming years.
Market research firm Strategy Analytics says... that the adoption rate of 5G smartphones in South Korea will reach 5-point-5 percent next year and rise to 10-point-9 percent by 2020.
Korea's three largest mobile carriers already launched their 5G networks earlier this month,... but services are currently limited to enterprise users only.
Other nations also expected to get an early jump on 5G technology over the next two years... include the U.S., China and Japan.
