Two Koreas withdraw troops and firearms from dozens of border guard posts

Another historic step in the movement for peace on the Korean Peninsula.
According to a government source on Saturday,… the two Koreas have completely withdrawn troops and firearms from dozens of the guard posts on their border.
Work to remove them began at the start of the month... and was part of the commitments made by South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at their summit in Pyeongyang.
And starting today, the two sides will demolish those guard posts by the end of the month -- all except for one each.
After that's done, they will discuss removing all their guard posts, of which there are more than 200.
