Two helicopters deployed to DMZ to extinguish forest fire

For the first time since the two Koreas signed the comprehensive military agreement on September 19th, Seoul's military deployed two helicopters to the DMZ.
According to the Defense Ministry, at around 1 pm. Sunday local time, a forest fire was observed near a guard post within the DMZ.
The blaze was likely to spread towards the south so the Ministry and the UN Command used the military communication line to inform Pyeongyang two Choppers would be entering the No Fly Zone.
The regime responded they received the request.
The comprehensive military agreement says helicopters should not fly more than 10 kilometers from the Military Demarcation Line, but provides exceptions in certain cases, including forest fires.
