NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio In Apparent Message To Trump: 'Don't Encourage Violence'

Bill de Blasio said in an apparent message to President Trump on Wednesday: "Don't encourage violence."

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio on Wednesday sent an apparent message to President Trump in regard to not encouraging violence.  Though de Blasio began his statement by noting that it applied "to all public officials of all partisan affiliations," he closed it by commenting that the effort "to end any messages about the use of violence against people we disagree with…has to start at the top."  His address followed the interception of pipe bombs sent to former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and CNN.  Just days prior, an explosive device was delivered to the home of liberal donor George Soros, notes Business Insider. Notably, each of the intended recipients has been the subject of verbal attacks from President Trump and a bevy of Republicans.  Whether that's part of a plan or just an unfortunate coincidence is a matter that is under investigation.
