Mayor Bill de Blasio made an appearance at the annual Veterans Day Parade in New York City on Sunday, November 11.
In the video, de Blasio is seen holding up an American flag and walking with supporters behind a large banner that reads "Mayor Bill de Blasio Thanks You For Your Service".
Thousands from more than 300 units in the Armed Forces marched in this year's parade, which commemorates the centennial of the end of World War 1. The Veterans Day Parade has been held annually since 1919 and is the largest Veterans Day event in the United States.
