Generals from the two Koreas will discuss how to form and run a joint military committee during high-level military talks Friday at the Tongil-gak building on the North Korean side of Panmunjeom.
They are expected to assess the progress on implementing the inter-Korean military agreement signed last month.
They will also discuss other prospective projects,... including the shared use of the Hangang River estuary.
Major General Kim Do-gyun will lead South Korea's delegation and Lieutenant General Ahn Ik-san will lead the North Korean side.
According to Seoul's Defense Ministry, the South first made the proposal for talks, which Pyeongyang later accepted.
