Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe once again sent offerings to the controversial Yasukuni Shrine, this time while on his visit to Europe,
He has regularly paid respects to the shrine, which honors Japan's war dead, including several class-A war criminals, angering South Korea, China and even the U.S. among other countries.
Seoul's foreign ministry released a statement saying that it cannot help but express grave concerns over the PM's glorification of Japan's wartime aggression.
The ministry urged Tokyo to reflect on its past wrongdoings and take sincere, responsible measures to earn trust from neighboring countries and the international community.
