Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley spoke on the second day of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2018. He said that the sentiment about the Indian economy is not negative. Jaitley said that we can’t be the fastest growing economy for 4-5 years and still have a negative sentiment. “What happens in an era of uncertainty, FDI flows happened to an area that the investors considered a safe haven”. Jaitley said that US is considered a safe haven world over and that the FDI flows will not reduce.
