Most Favoured Nation status granted to Pakistan withdrawn: Arun Jaitley

In a major diplomatic move, India has revoked the most favoured nation (MFN) status given to Pakistan. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in New Delhi early Friday morning. The CCS meet was called to discuss the security situation in the Kashmir Valley following the Pulwama terror strike. A Jaish suicide bomber on Thursday rammed a car packed with explosives into a CRPF convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. The CRPF has confirmed at least 40 deaths in the terror attack, counted among the bloodiest in Kashmir.
