Hello, I'm Michelle Park here with the latest weather update.
The whole country is under the influence of typhoon Kong-Rey, and Jeju and parts of Jeollanam-do and
Gyeongsangbuk-do provinces are under heavy rain alerts.
The typhoon is expected to pass east of Jeju and reach the coast of Busan in the afternoon, but if the storm speeds up, it could reach the southern coast before dawn.
Tomorrow it will continue to rain except on Jeju,... which will no longer be affected by the storm. Rain lingers in Tokyo too.
Between 30 and 80 millimeters of precipitation is expected in Seoul, but Jeju will get more than 500 millimeters,
so if you're there you'll need to take extra precautions.
The morning low in Seoul starts at 17 degrees, while most of the southern regions are higher at 21 degrees.
Even with the downpours, Seoul will reach 21 degrees, while Daegu, Busan and Jeju peak at 24.
