According to a report by CNN, typhoon Kong-rey will be the ninth tropical system of the season to impact Japan this year, as the storm is expected to bring 75 mile per hour winds equivalent to a Category 1 hurricane. This storm comes just a week after Typhoon Trami, which made landfall this past Sunday in Wakayama province.
