Pres. Moon warmly welcomed by N. Korean leader and people of Pyeongyang

Before the official meetings began, President Moon got a very stately and personal welcome from Chairman Kim... upon his arrival at Pyongyang's main airport,
In fact it, to see a North Korean leader pull out all the stops like that... was wholly unprecedented.
Our Park Hee-jun has this report. Another historic meeting between the leaders of the two Koreas.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and his wife Ri Sol-ju welcomed South Korean President Moon Jae-in and First Lady Kim Jung-sook,... as they arrived at Pyeongyang Sunan International Airport Tuesday morning.
Walking down the red carpet... they were greeted by ceremonial guards and a massive crowd of civilians cheering with North Korean flags and unification flags.
They were also received by rare attendances from top North Korean officials, including Kim Yong-chol and Kim Yong-nam,... and of course, Kim Jong-un's sister Kim Yo-jong.
President Moon shook hands with those officials,... as did Kim with the South Korean delegation.
Never before has Kim Jong-un personally greeted a visiting world leader at the airport.
And it's just the second time that a South Korean leader has been met personally by his North Korean counterpart upon arrival.
It's preceded only by when Kim's father Kim Jong-il greeted then-President Kim Dae-jung at the airport back in 2000,... when they had the first-ever Pyeongyang Summit.
The welcoming ceremony didn't end until President Moon arrived at the Paekhwawon Guesthouse.
He was greeted by the people of Pyeongyang,... as well as riding in a car parade on the way to the state guesthouse.
And it turns out,... he was enjoying the ride in the back of an open-topped car,.... with none other than Kim Jong-un.
