Liquor baron Vijay Mallya was caught on cam while attending the first day of the last test match between India and England. When he was asked about his return to India, he said, “It is for the judge to decide”. Mallya is facing extradition case in London’s Westminster Magistrates’ Court . He is accused of bank fraud and money laundering amounting to nearly Rs 9,000 crore. Last week, Mallya got a three-week breather to file his response to the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) plea to declare him a fugitive economic offender, owing to an error by the ED’s investigating officer. The officer did not attach a copy of the complaint and annexed documents along with the notice.
