U.S. Gulf Coast Ports Reopening After Gordon Downgraded To Depression
  • 6 years ago
According to a report by Reuters, on Wednesday, energy companies and port operators along the US Gulf Coast took steps to resume operations after Tropical Storm Gordon closed over 9 percent of the region's oil and gas output. Gordon weakening into a depression just before making landfall near the Alabama-Mississippi border helped to keep production and refining operations running unimpeded at most energy facilities in the Gulf and along the Louisiana coast.
