President Trump on Sunday touted his approval rating, while attacking the media.
President Trump on Sunday suggested in a tweet that he's the "all time favorite" Republican president.
"Over 90% approval rating for your all time favorite (I hope) President within the Republican Party and 52% overall. This despite all of the made up stories by the Fake News Media trying endlessly to make me look as bad and evil as possible. Look at the real villains please!" Trump wrote.
The president didn't specify the poll he's referencing. A survey released by the Wall Street Journal and NBC News on Sunday shows that Trump has a 44% job approval rating.
Trump has repeatedly lashed out at the media during his presidency.
"The Fake News hates me saying that they are the Enemy of the People only because they know it's TRUE. I am providing a great service by explaining this to the American People. They purposely cause great division & distrust. They can also cause War! They are very dangerous & sick!" he wrote in early August.
