The weather tried to ruin the competition, but all the teams coming from all over Italy were on fire, and in a few seconds the Maurane Fraty skatepark in L’Aquila was dried, and the battle was ON!
The judges had a tough task on their hands as there could only be one winner, and after a long and difficult debate, they picked Frisco Shop from Brescia as the 2016 Vans Shop Riot Italian Champion. Well deserved!
The shop from Castelfranco lost the final challenge but can celebrate another trophy; however, they can be happy as Fabio Montana landed a perfect flip fs grind, crowning him as the new Nixon Best Trick winner.
The Frisco team is ready to fly to the European final in Cascais, Portugal. You can bet that we'll definitely be there to cheer them on. Good luck, guys!
