Boracay set to reopen on Oct 26, but will no longer be 'party island'

The resort island of Boracay in the Philippines is set to reopen on October 26th, but the government says it will no longer be a "party island."
The island had mounting sewage problems, prompting the government to undergo a much-needed clean-up in April.
Manila will only allow hotels and resorts that its says are 100 percent compliant with environment laws to open.
However, only about 30 percent of them are said to meet the criteria, meaning only about 5,000 rooms will be available when Boracay reopens.
The tourism ministry says it also plans to limit the number of tourists entering the island in order to make it more sustainable.
