No automated teller machines (ATMs) will be replenished with cash after 9pm in cities and 6pm in rural areas from 2019 even as two armed guards will accompany crisp notes in transit, according to a new directive issued by the union home ministry.putting money in ATMs located in Naxal-hit areas is 4pm. Private cash handling agencies must collect money from the banks in the first half of the day and transport notes only in armoured vehicles.

ఏటీఎంలలో రాత్రి 9 గంటల్లోపు క్యాష్ నింపాలని కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసింది. నగరాల్లో రాత్రి 9 గంటల లోపు, నక్సల్ ప్రభావిత ప్రాంతాల్లో సాయంత్రం 4 గంటల్లోగా క్యాష్ నింపాలని ప్రైవేట్ ఏజెన్సీలకు కేంద్రం సూచించింది. ఉదయం బ్యాంకు తెరుచుకున్న వెంటనే ప్రైవేట్ ఏజెన్సీలు డబ్బును ఏటీఎంలలో నింపేందుకు తీసుకోవాల్సి ఉంటుందని కేంద్రహోంశాఖ ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేసింది. ఈ మేరకు కొన్ని సూచనలను కేంద్రహోంశాఖ విడుదల చేసింది. ఇది ఫిబ్రవరి 8, 2019 నుంచి అమల్లోకి వస్తుందని కేంద్రం తెలిపింది. క్యాష్ ఏటీఎంలలో నింపేందుకు వెళుతున్న వ్యాన్‌లపై దాడులు చేసి కొందరు దుండగులు క్యాష్ కాజేస్తున్న నేపథ్యంలో కేంద్రం ఈ నిబంధనలను తీసుకొచ్చింది.
