Court rejects arrest warrant for Gyeongsangnam-do Province governor over online opinion rigging

In other news,... the Seoul Central District Court has rejected an arrest warrant for the governor of Gyeongsangnam-do Province over his alleged involvement in an online comment-rigging scandal.
Kim Kyoung-soo is accused of colluding with a blogger nicknamed Druking… who manipulated the number of likes on online news article comments supporting the now-ruling Democratic Party in late 2016.
The court said on Saturday that the charges against Kim are disputable and he presents little flight risk considering his current job.
Kim denies the allegations…saying he met Druking but never saw any presentations about the blogger's opinion manipulation software, called King Crab.
