문재인 대통령, 판문점 선언 국회비준 요청; '함께 방북해 남북 국회회담 단초 마련하자'

Our starting point this afternoon is President Moon's plan to bring the two Koreas closer together.
Speaking to the floor leaders of all five of the major parties in parliament, the President called on lawmakers to put aside party differences and work to improve inter-Korean relations.
Specifically, he asked them to quickly ratify the Panmunjom Declaration,... the document he signed with North Korean leader Kim Jong-il back in April.
The President also asked parliament to send representatives along with him when he goes to Pyongyang next month for his third summit with Kim Jong-un.
And added that having them there would be a great help in promoting inter-Korean dialogue on the parliamentary level,... something that would depend, of course, on lawmakers ratifying the Panmunjom Declaration.
