A deer was seen walking through the rubble of a home in Redding, California, that was destroyed by the Carr Fire.

“My friend and I were driving through one of the many neighborhoods devastated by the Carr Fire and noticed a deer in the driveway of this house,” the filmer said. “It looked like it was searching for something as it walked across the grass through the brick ‘entryway.’”

The footage was filmed on August 11.

The three-week-old Carr Fire has now burned 207,162 acres, according to the Redding Record Searchlight.
