Delegates confirmed for Monday's high-level inter-Korean talks
  • 6 years ago
South and North Korea have confirmed the delegates they'll be sending Monday to high-level talks at the inter-Korean border.
Seoul's four-member delegation will be led by Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon.
The other South Korean delegates are from the Presidential Office of Cheong Wa Dae and the Prime Minister's Office.
Pyongyang is sending a five-member delegation, led by the head of the regime's reunification committee, Ri Son-gwon.
Also included are senior North Korean officials in charge of environment, railways and economic cooperation.
The two Koreas are holding the high-level talks to plan the next and third inter-Korean summit of the year.
But looking at the North Korean delegates, it's possible that economic cooperation between the two Koreas could be on the table as well.
